Get to Know Kathy!

I grew up in a family where both my parents were committed to civic engagement to make their community a better place to live. My husband and I, with our two young daughters, moved to Pleasanton 23 years ago. I became involved with local sports teams for many years with my children, who were both swimmers, serving on the Board of Directors for two different organizations. This led to becoming a member of the Bernal Property Task Force (representing sports groups), which led to an appointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission—and the rest is history! I enjoy serving as your Councilmember and I find it rewarding to meet residents, listen to what matters and provide the leadership that makes Pleasanton the place we all love to call home.
